The brief.

I was approached by a local design agency to design them a new website. Their current website was hard to use and as a result they found they didn’t want to make changes. They also felt the website was outdated.

What I did.

I started by sitting down with the client and working through what they felt they needed, agreeing that they thought a blog would work well for them as well as a calendar so they would have somewhere to point parents to regarding term times and shows they had coming up.

After this I went away and worked on their wireframes. First I worked on some simple drawings:

I next moved onto digitalising the wireframes and I presented them to the client. When they were happy I next moved onto the designs.

I presented them first with some mood boards:

Finally I presented them with the final designs.

Finished product.

The client was really pleased with the work and has found it a lot more easy to use.

The website can be found at

What the client had to say.

“Rachael has been amazing with the development of our website. The whole process from start to finish was effortless and the way in which she explained the technical side of the design ensured that we felt in control of every aspect.

Her after-care service, once the website was launched, meant that we got up to speed on editing and adding content quickly. I would whole heartedly recommend Rachael to anyone who wants a website that will compliment their business.”
